Our commitment

The ‘principle of legality’ is an essential and primary value for ButanGas S.p.A.. For this reason, the company is committed to complying with the laws and regulations in force as well as the directives issued by the competent authorities. Moreover, to ensure compliance with this principle, the company has adopted an Organisation, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001 and an Antitrust Code of Conduct. To counter unlawful conduct or conduct contrary to the Code of Ethics, Legislative Decree 231/01, and conduct contrary to competition regulations, ButanGas has adopted a telematic platform (the so-called Whistleblowing platform) through which, guaranteeing the anonymity of the reporter and the secrecy of the information, both employees and collaborators and third parties can report unlawful conduct/non-compliance at any time.

Code of Ethics

Supervisory body

Consumer Customer Charter

The Consumer Customer Charter contains the commercial and technical principles that the Company undertakes to respect towards its customers.
ButanGas is the first company in the sector to adopt this measure, as a further guarantee of a constant commitment to offer excellent products and services.

Antitrust Compliance

The activities of ButanGas are based on the principles of the free market and competition, which are the Company’s founding values and an integral part of its corporate culture. ButanGas stigmatises the use of unfair behaviour to achieve its economic objectives and operates in full compliance with the regulations and principles protecting free competition.

In order to further comply with antitrust regulations, the Company has decided to adopt an antitrust compliance programme appropriate to the size of ButanGas and effective in relation to the market context in which the Companies operate, in line with European and national best practices, as specified by the “Antitrust Compliance Guidelines” published on 4 October 2018 by the Antitrust Authority.

Whistleblowing

ButanGas intends to prosecute those who, in the exercise of their duties, engage in conduct that is unlawful or contrary to the Code of Ethics.

Therefore, in compliance with the provisions of Law No. 179/17 (Whistleblowing regulations) which amended Article 6 of Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, ButanGas has adopted a telematic platform (the so-called “Whistleblowing Platform”) to collect reports of conduct contrary to the law or company principles and which, at the same time, guarantees the confidentiality of the information and maximum protection of the reporter, as required by regulations.
