ButanGas at MCE 2022 to reaffirm the centrality of LPG
Not only LPG, but also Electricity and Natural Gas
Multi-offer, safety and digitisation of processes in the spotlight
Milan, June 2022 – Also in 2022, MCE, the global trade fair event dedicated to companies in the HVAC+R, renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors, will be an unmissable appointment for ButanGas, which, on the strength of its 74 years of experience in the LPG market, will be in Rho from 28 June to 1 July, as an energy multi-utility.
The company, in fact, will present itself to visitors at the event as the sole interlocutor for its customers, both private and business, for the supply of LPG, Electricity and Natural Gas: a 360° offer, capable of satisfying the needs of different types of users, through its usual service, safety and transparency.
The event in Lombardy will also be an opportunity to highlight the internal organisational changes that will make ButanGas’ structure, made up of 360 employees back in attendance, even more prepared to respond to the market’s new challenges: MCE will see Demetrio Moscato, who joined the Group in 2010, attend as ButanGas’ Deputy General Manager, a role he took on following his nomination by holding company Veroniki Holding, headed by President Daniela Veronica Gusa de Dragan and General Manager Christos Christofides. Also making his official debut was Riccardo Rocco – who has been among the strategic figures in the commercial sector since 2008 – in the new role of Commercial Director.
“The participation of ButanGas at MCE is also important to reaffirm the leading role of LPG in Italy and in the energy transition process. We present ourselves with satisfaction at Rho as an energy multi-utility, but in the collective imagination we are one of the historical brands in the LPG sector and we want to keep our roots firmly in place, while always looking to the future through the extraordinary opportunities that innovation offers us,” comments Demetrio Moscato, Deputy General Manager of ButanGas.
The centrality of customer focus: new CRM platform coming soon
In addition to being a valuable opportunity to meet directly with all stakeholders in the energy sector, the event is also fundamental in demonstrating the centrality of customer focus, expressed not only by the quality of the service, but also by the solidity of the direct relationship, aimed at promptly satisfying all kinds of requests, from consulting to technical assistance.
Trust and closeness to customers, which is also the result of a capillary rooting throughout the country, through a network of branches and LPG storage and bottling plants, has always been one of ButanGas’ strong points. To be even closer to its customers, the company is also implementing a series of projects at the IT and digital level, which will bring an unprecedented degree of innovation to the sector, aligning it with contemporary scenarios and guaranteeing an even more punctual and fluid interaction with all users.
The presence at MCE will therefore see ButanGas management begin to talk about the new CRM platform that is coming soon, which will not only offer a quick and precise response to customer needs, but will also bring improvements in internal processes, as well as concrete results in terms of sustainability, such as the reduction in the use of paper thanks to the total dematerialisation of contracts.
This is only the first step of the corporate improvement path undertaken, which among other things sees the use of social channels as real-time assistance tools, the activation of a partnership with Scalapay that allows payment in instalments at no additional cost, and the release by 2022 of an App functional to the maximum personalisation of the relationship with the individual customer.
Focus on safety: fleet renewal and environmental protection
The presence at a leading showcase such as MCE will be crucial to reaffirm the commitment to guarantee the highest safety standards, thanks also to research activities that translate into a constant modernisation of plants and structures and a concrete protection of the environment, through the adoption of increasingly ecological solutions in all phases of LPG production, transport and distribution.
In line with these principles, ButanGas has initiated a process of renewal of its fleet of medium-heavy vehicles, equipped with latest-generation engines that guarantee reduced polluting emissions and maximum safety standards to safeguard the health of workers in road traffic and customers during the transfer of bulk LPG into tanks.
“The moment is complex, with highly unstable geopolitical scenarios, but for us the hope that LPG, the most sustainable fossil fuel, will be preferred to more polluting fuels remains central: this is and remains our perspective. Despite the marginally damaging price increases, we come to Rho strong with this vision and want to concretely testify to stakeholders and customers that we continue to invest to innovate and offer a service with a further degree of customisation and able, at the same time, to make a difference in areas that are essential for the future of the entire community, such as sustainability and broad-spectrum safety of working contexts. We are very pleased, therefore, to be able to be at MCE also for the pioneering role in the LPG sector that ButanGas is playing in the implementation of digital tools for customers and for a new approach to corporate culture, linked to greater efficiency in internal and external processes,” concludes Demetrio Moscato.
